Nothing.
Everything - disgusting.

I would not send my worst enemy there. Sorry I have seen lower hotels charge a lot less with cleaner rooms, air conditioners that work and a staff that knows what they are doing. I will never stay at any of their chain hotels again. ...read more

Stairs to upper rooms needed repair

This was a great motel located just at the end of the historic section of Temecula. The rooms were spacious and well appointed for a motel of this rating. I am planning on returning to this motel with my wife for a weekend get away. ...read more

Outside matched the "Old Cowboy" theme of Temecula perfectly, interor was clean spacious & comfortable.
Air conditioner didn't work as well as we hoped they would. Temecula is a hot town!

We spent six nights in five different motels/hotels and we felt the Rode way Inn in Temecula, CA (2nd & 3rd night of our trip)was far superior than the 4 star Westin Bonaventure in L.A. we stayed at the 1st night of our vacation in almost every way. From now on I will make an effort to stay in a Rode way for any traveling we do. It was super clean, roomy, relaxing and it was in a fantastic location to top it all off! ...read more

The staff was accommodating, pleasant and helpful.
The only rooms available were smoking rooms.
We got what was left over.

Our room was a long room with one 8" X 24" window located above the air conditioner at one end of the room, this left the other end in darkness. The shower, toilet were located at one end and the sink at the other end (the dark end) with the wall bed in between. There was no end tables or lamps. All lighting was in the ceiling. The light for the mirror was above and behind me so when trying to use the mirror my face was in shadows. There was a tray, like used for a coffee pot and coffee cups, but there was no coffee pot or coffee. There was a mount for a blow dryer but no blow dryer. When I went to use my own the plug was so far away that I could barely see myself in the mirror. At 6:30 in the morning the sun came in the tiny window right on our faces. The window had no shades, curtains or any other way to cover it. I paid more than the hotel charged other travelers but the room was not even worth. ...read more

Bathrooms especially were very clean.
The beds were old, but not too bad. Air conditioning in suite didn't work well, was too warm at night.

The hotel is in a quaint part of town and gives one the feeling of small town. Staff was friendly, but not go-out-of-their-way friendly. Room was spacious and nice, but the beds are old. However, we did not find them totally unacceptable. The TV reception has something to be desired, so if that's your thing for hanging out in the room you might consider elsewhere. Furnishings other than bed were in nice repair and everything seemed quite clean and inviting. Enjoyed the microwave and refrigerator and table with chairs. ...read more

Many dining and shoping choices.
Poor service.Toilet backed up and unable to use.

It is an older hotel, overall clean. Location is great for shopping and dining in Temecula. The toilet backed up first morning in our room. We called 2 times for a plunger to fix the problem and no one came. Was very disappointed in manager to not respond and fix the problem ASAP. Luckily, we had rented another room for friends and we had to use their bathroom. Not happy about that. Would not stay there again. ...read more
